I will use { when I should use a [ and show the process.

First you have to find the link you want to link to.
For this process I will select my own YouTube account. The link to my account is under the name of LoTMyle. When I enter the raw link to a post I find that nothing appears. Even when I enclose the url within the 'Url' blocks it does not show like on other pages.
How do I fix that?

You have two options:
{url=type your chosen link destination}type whatever message you wish as a reference in this space{/url}
And I got this:
This is Myle's YouTube page

or

{link=type your chosen link destination}again type your chosen link destination{/link}
And I got this:
http://www.youtube.com/user/LoTMyle

I hope this helps those who have been having problems posting links.
