Now that the number of Reward Tokens has started to build, curiousity on what they can be turned in for has started to rise. Amoung the options considered:
Item stat bonuses
Item damage boosts
Item defensive boosts
custom names for items
RP desired items

Please post additional suggestions.

The number of reward tokens each will cost is something I would like some feed back on also.

Bag of Holding.

I would like to know the number of tokens needed for it. As well as the items stated above.

Be patient. I am a noobish Scripter, thrown into the deep end of the pool

Application of all rewards should be to compliment or reflect known RP traits or skills. The cost of applied rewards may be lowered via questing or for 'trademark RP items' such as a knight who RP's learning to use the abilities of a family sword or a mage who's research allows him/her to 'enchant' their staff, etc...

Item's customized with Reward Token bonuses should not be used in OOC encounter/combat between players unless revealed and agreed to. Improvements too far beyond or above server standards are subject to being denied. Items already at server max may not be approved for significant improvements or changes.

The Reward Tokens belong to the player though they are earned by character participation in events. The player can schedule with a DM to move tokens to a particular character for cashing in.

When tokens are cashed in, we will post here who turned them in and what for. As additional tokens are cashed in, the characters entry should be updated.

# of Reward Tokens : Received reward

1 : +1 Attack bonus
2 : +2 Attack bonus
3 : +3 Attack bonus
6 : +4 Attack bonus
12 : +6 Attack bonus
2 : +1 Enchantment bonus
4 : +2 Enchantment bonus
6 : +3 Enchantment bonus
12 : +4 Enchantment bonus
24 : +6 Enchantment bonus
2 : per +1 skill bonus (+10 max per skill)
4 : +1 Ability point
8 : +2 Ability points
12 : +3 Ability points
24 : +4 Ability points
48 : +5 Ability points
3 : Rename an item
1 : 1000 XP
2 : +1 Elemental damage (up to +3)
5 : +1d4 Elemental damage
8 : +1d6 Elemental damage
10 : +1d8 Elemental damage
12 : +1d10 Elemental damage
16 : +1d12 Elemental damage
(Max damage allowed with Reward Token bonuses +20 via elemental bonuses)
5 : Attuned item to specific PC (Non-drop/non-pickpocket... might still be disarmed in the case of a weapon so use caution)

On Hit attack or defensive traits can be obtained. The cost will depend on the request.

10 : Bag of Holding (20 for a second, 30 for a third) If done via a quest, the number of players and number of sessions involved will go toward reducing the cost.

Example:
0 : A raw long sword
6 : +3 EB
10 : +1d8 Sonic
24 : +4 Str
4 : +4 Discipline
44 = New sword
As you can tell, it would be better to add a trait or two to an existing item rather than build from scratch. Though, via RP and campiagn participation the cost can be reduced.
For example:
To upgrade a +4 str on a sword to +5 would cost 48 Reward Tokens... minus the 24 for the exisiting +4 value. Making the actual cost of adding the 5th point of Strength at 24 Reward Tokens.

Named or customized items of note need to stay with the character they are designed for unless they are passed on via RP. Do note: Items passed on to other characters (except as along family lines) are subject to capture by others via RP unless 'attuned'. Example: A mage creates a powerful staff for himself and it passes to his/her apprentice (non-family). Unless the staff is 're-attuned' via quest or tokens, the staff is not considered 'in the family' and is subject to RP theft and ransoms, etc...

Please post additional suggestions or changes in assigned Reward Token turn in values since this is still a system under design and the values may need to adjust up or down based on practical usefullness.
