Hey everyone, been a long time. So, how is everyone doing? Personally my life has been plagued with more negativity the past couple of years than I thought humanly possible to deal with. But guess what . . . I have dealt with it lol *Final Fantasy victory music goes off*. Still looking for a job, and all the people that were supposedly my friends are outta my life now, so it's just me for the most part. I currently host a 2nd Edition Al-Qadim campaign, a 4th Edition Al-Qadim conversion campaign, and another 4th Edition game during the weeks. So, if nothing else is going right in the cosmos, my creative energy is back at peak.
No more MMO's either lol. The bad news is that I can't remember how to do anything in this game. The good news is that I'm taking the time to relearn. Hope to hear from you guys. http://dungeonsanddragonsresource.blogspot.com/
Welcome back V. Don't worry about the relearning curve. There has been so much impacting just about everyone the last year or two, it is just good that we all keep getting back in touch and putting effort into this little refuge of fun and escapism.
Let me know if you need instruction with anything. I have been relearning a few thinks myself, but it seems to all be coming back to me.
By the way everyone. Feel free to go to my facebook page and check out my D&D maps I'm working on. Definately not the greatest creations, but I think they are pretty good.
Tip: You can use the Civ3 world maker to make maps. If you can't get the map to print, you can always zoom out and do a screen cap of the map. Additionally, you can make other maps to represent the 'zoom in'. I.E. if you have a coastal passage, the large map would just show a mountainous area next to the sea, but the 'zoom' in maps would show additional detail.
Got the links working. Not sure what was going on with my blog link, I had to actually copy and paste from the site :P You know how computers can be though lol.
Didn't think about Civ3, haven't played it in a while. I use Campaign Cartographer 3 with Dungeon Designer 3, and a mix of other tools. And, I'm slowly learning to touch up in Photoshop and Gimp. http://dungeonsanddragonsresource.blogspot.com/
